About Us

Pingsters Table Tennis Club, a place where table tennis enthusiasts come together to play, compete, and have fun.

A Table Tennis Club That Prides Itself On Community

Pulling together in one common goal...To participate in a group activity that doesn't take itself too seriously.  That is the Pingsters Way.

We welcome adults of at least a local league standard—so if you've played before and are looking for a club without structured drills, please reach out to us.

A community driven club that prioritises the ensemble rather than the individual.

We Pong. We Play. We Love Table Tennis

Welcome to Pingsters Table Tennis Club, a place where table tennis enthusiasts come together to play, compete, and have fun.

Founded in 2024 by Rudi and Neil, our mission is simple: to create a relaxed, welcoming space for local league-standard players who love the game but don’t want rigid training drills or coaching sessions. Here, it's all about having a knock, embracing the competition, and enjoying the sport in a laid-back, fun environment.

Our Community & League Play

We currently have two teams competing in Division 1 and one team in Division 4 of the Worthing League and plan to expand that further next season.

Our Table Tennis Journey – From Passion to Pingsters

Every great passion has a story, and for us, table tennis has shaped our lives in ways we’ll never forget. Here's how our journeys with the sport began, and how it led us to create Pingsters Table Tennis Club.

I started playing table tennis when I was 7 years old, my head barely rising above the table. It quickly consumed my childhood, training multiple times a week and travelling around the country competing. The discipline and focus it instilled in me remains a profound part of who I am. The community spirit sport brings is something to be cherished.

I started my Table Tennis at Cherry Lane playground in Crawley where me and a friend heard there was a man there teaching table tennis. He turned out to be ex England player Harry Venner! We spent years with Harry through our youth and toured the south playing tournaments. Then after a 15 year hiatus I returned and I love it just as much as I did then and secretly still believe I might still get better.
