Falling Short Aint So Bad
Sometimes you have to lose in order to come back stronger. Last year Pingsters TTC celebrated a fruitful tournament, this year we struggled to impose ourselves with a tough field of competition. That’s fine, ultimately the Pingsters on show had a fun day and now face a few days of recovery as our joints took a battering amidst some fine displays. We came away trophy less with the exception of a runners up accolade from Stuart Kojak Burdock and Rudi The Backhand Phantom Dharmalingam. We’ll be back next year providing our ageing bodies are kind to us.
As we let the dust settle post our Opening Night at our new venue, next up will be The Pingsters Closed on the 17th May. Last year we crammed a bunch of Pingsters into a school hall for 8 hours and Pedro Professor Topspin Santos managed to triumph in a sweaty affair. This year should be a very different experience with all what our new venue and new kit provides. There are rumblings of a few other events to add to the calendar therefore more fun and frolics to look forward to.
